○ need 92 weeks of study in Tasmania
○ You and your family are living in and committed to Tasmania
• Enrolled before 31/7/2017
○ Completed Cert 3 or higher in Tasmania of at least 40 weeks
○ You and your family are living in and committed to Tasmania
Job Offer – Australian applicant 190
• Have been working for the last 3 months fulltime (35 hours per week) in a closely related occupation
• Your company has been operating for at least the last 12 months
Job Offer – Overseas Applicant
• Fulltime (35 hours a week) job offer(s) for a job that is based in Tasmania (for a minimum of 35 hours per week). – closely related occupation
• You and dependents not lived in any other Australian state in last 12 months

• Have been working for the last 3 months fulltime (35 hours per week) not have to be a closely related occupation
• Your company has been operating for at least the last 12 months
No Job Offer – Overseas Applicant
• Occupation has to be on the Tasmanian skilled list
• You and dependents not lived in any other Australian state in last 12 months
• Only 5-8 job vacancies instead of job offer is ok also
Job Offer – Overseas Applicant
• Fulltime (35 hours a week) job offer(s) for a job that is based in Tasmania (for a minimum of 35 hours per week). – closely related occupation
• You and dependents not lived in any other Australian state in last 12 months
Family in Tasmania – 489 only
• A PR/Citizen who is your parent, child, sibling, aunt, uncle, first cousin, or grandparent has lived in Tasmania for 12 months
• Occupation on MLTSSL or STSOL (only for 489 visa )
Small Business Owner (only available for 489)
• New business , cannot be a franchise or an existing business
• Submit a comprehensive business plan with your application.
• Strongly demonstrate your past business experience, management expertise and genuine intention to operate a business in Tasmania.
