You will see there that those Engineering and IT occupations that were restricted have seen some movement towards more invites as a result of DIBP raising the minimum of all occupational codings to at least 1000 for the program year.

More importantly though we have received an invitation on 24/3/2014 (that report won’t be released by DIBP for 2 more weeks) for a :

2339 Occupation at just 60 points (EOI lodged June 2013)
2613 Occupation at just 60 points (EOI lodged Septemnber 2013).

This is great news for those people in these codings who thought they would have no hope before now and the 30th June 2014 of receiving an invite. It means that for EOIs lodged in these two codings at 65 points or more have all received an invite and that they have dipped into the 60 point allocation. Given that DIBP announced remaining places for these restricted codings will be allocated pro rata, there should be quite a few plaves still left up to 30/6/2014. And so those remaining at 60 points have a very good change of receiving an invite shortly.
